Utility Assistance

During challenging times, Utility Assistance is sometimes needed by families, especially during cold winter months of Michigan. Community Action Allegan County may be able to help assist you before your utilities are shut off. There are some requirements to be met, however, the process isn’t complicated as long as you have what’s needed.

We have listed below what you will need to bring in to an appointment. Give us a call to schedule a time, and we’re happy to help you. We can make a faster determination when you come in prepared, which also saves extra time. This is why we encourage you to prepare these documents ahead of the appointment.

This program assists income eligible households by providing payment for metered and deliverable fuel bills in order to avert a household crisis. We do our very best to help families in Allegan County and hope to serve you also.
