PUBLIC COMMENT NOTIFICATION


Notice of Public Comment on Proposed FY 2026 Community Services Block Grant Plan. Community Action of Allegan County will accept public comments as required by the Department of Health and Human Services for the CSBG State Plan for FY 2027. Public comments will be accepted on the FY 2027 CSBG proposed plan beginning 9:00 a.m. May 21, 2026, and ending at 3:00 p.m. June 23, 2026.
The plan summary is as follows: A total of $209,568 is planned to be utilized in Allegan County for the general purposes of Emergency Food Assistance; Weatherization; Information and Referral; Utility Assistance; Outreach; Housing; Skilled Trades Training; Volunteer Driver Transportation; Home Delivered Meals. These programs are for eligible citizens in Allegan County.
