Community Action of Allegan is supported by generous donations of all sizes as well as grants from Federal and State programs. One in four children in Michigan are living in poverty; that's 25%.  Our older population has grown with the baby boomers getting older, and so have the needs of people in our community.  Single parents and pregnant mothers continue needing support.  That is why we need you. Community Action of Allegan’s ability to successfully carry out our mission relies heavily on the support of our community and network of stakeholders. Without your continued involvement and investment, the agency would be unable to fulfill its promise to:

Serve, advocate, and engage individuals, families, and communities to overcome the effects of poverty and encourage self-reliance.

Monetary donations can be made online and can be one-time or re-occurring. In addition, donors can specify an area or program in which they would like their donation used or their donation can be used to support the agency's most critical need. Monetary donations are tax-deductible.

Our low administrative rate allows $.96 of every dollar to be used for direct client assistance.

The donation form below makes it easy for you to decide how you'd like to help.  Please take a look at the options and we think you'll find the right type of donation that fits you, and helps many people.  We thank you on behalf of the residents of Allegan County.
